Wheat procurement campaign begins from April 15

ISLAMABAD: Wheat procurement campaign starts from April 15 in Punjab.

A procurement target of 3.5 million metric ton has been set in the province for year 2014.

For this purpose, the government has decided to set up complaint centers at tehsil, district and province levels to redress the grievances of wheat growers.

According to Radio Pakistan quoting official sources these centers would fully and promptly respond to growers and ensure protection of their rights.

A citizen feedback system, digital monitoring system and other services of the government would be actively used to ensure transparency during the wheat procurement campaign, source added.
