KARACHI: A gold medal will be awarded to Fawad Alam for his outstanding performances in the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament on Monday.
The medal was announced by Director Omar Associates Nadeem Omar for Fawad Alam's spectacular unbeaten knock of 114 against Sri Lanka in the final of Asia Cup.
Left handed Fawad, who was making a comeback in Pakistan team, scored a match winning 74 against Bangladesh which took Pakistan in Asia Cup.
The medal will be presented to him at the prize distribution ceremony by Muhammad Zamir Khan after the final between Pakistan Cricket Club and Faisal Gymkhana staged at UBL Sports Complex Ground on March 31, organizers announced on Friday.
