Muhammad_Aamir2LONDON: Pakistan bowler Muhammad Aamir could face more censure after apparently being caught flouting his worldwide suspension.

Amir was found guilty by the International Cricket Council ICC in February last of deliberately bowling no balls in the fourth Test against England last August and banned for five years.

But the Daily Star reported on Wednesday that Amir had been caught turning out for Addington 1743 in a Surrey Cricket League Division One game.

The teenager, unsurprisingly, stole the show scoring 60 runs and taking four wickets in a win over St Luke's at the LSE ground on Saturday in New Malden.

ICC spokesman Colin Gibson said: "We are investigating and awaiting the details. If true, it is clearly a breach of the sanction imposed in February. The ban is absolutely worldwide covering all levels and any activities connected with cricket. What might happen next is a hypothetical question at this stage."
