ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed Thursday assured the National Assembly that the funds of Federal Medical and Dental College would be released soon.
Responding to a calling attention notice submitted by Ms Khalida Mansoor, Ms Parveen Masood Bhatti, Ms Nighat Parveen Mir and Maiza Hameed in the National Assembly,he said the finance ministry has been asked to release Rs 20 million to release the salaries of Medical and Dental College.
Speaking on a point of order, Ms Marvi Memon urged the opposition to avoid playing politics on Prime Minister's Youth Business Loan Scheme.
Responding to a Calling Attention Notice submitted by Ms Shahjehan, Parliamentary Secretary Raja Javed Ikhlas said 31,000 mobile towers have been installed in various areas of the country and there is not a single complaint against anyone.
He said mobile towers are not health hazards. The mobile companies have installed towers by fulfilling height criteria and towers have been installed after completing the required procedure.
