imageKARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has hailed the address of Malala Yousufzai, at the United Nations.

In a statement here on Saturday, he described this as a historic address saying that it is a matter of pride for thr entire Pakistani nation.

It may be recalled that the United Nations had designated July 12 as the `Malala Day'.

Sharjeel further pointed out that the entire world is appreciating Malala's struggle for the cause of education especially that of the girls.

He maintained that we can overcome the menace of terrorism and militancy with the spread of education.

The Minister said that the Government of Sindh congratulates and salutes Malala Yousufzai for her contributions towards the cause of education.
