ISLAMABAD: Senior PPP leader and former Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has emphatically stated that there would be no deadlock in the appointment of caretaker Prime Minister.
Talking to Radio Pakistan on late Sunday, he hoped that the issue will be resolved according to the constitution.
Qamar Zaman Kaira expressed optimism that consensus will be reached at the first level and if not it will go to the Parliamentary Committee. Unfortunately if the matter is not resolved at Parliamentary Committee level then it will go to the Election Commission for final opinion.
Answering a question, Qamar Zaman Kaira categorically stated that no deal is being struck between PPP and the PML-N for caretaker setups.
To another question, he expressed the hope that thinking of Nawaz Sharif will prevail and the matter will be resolved with consensus.
