ISLAMABAD: Member National Assembly (MNA) Akhunzada Chattan has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
He said that elections would be conducted under the supervision of an independent ECP. He said that the Election Commission of Pakistan was responsible to hold free, fair and transparent elections in all parts of the country.
Talking to state television, he said that present government had resolved many problems of the masses.
He said that his party was going to participate in the next elections on the basis of its performance and added his party believed in the policy of reconciliation.
Replying to a question he said that next elections would be held under direct supervision of ECP which was working independently in the country.
To another question regarding main issues for the next government, he said that addressing energy and maintaining law and order situation would be the priority for the next set up.
