ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira on Saturday congratulated the nation for completing five year constitutional tenure of the democratically elected government.
He said "This is the first time in the history of the country that present government is completing its constitutional period."
Talking to state television, he said "The people had given the mandate to the party which we have completed successfully."
He said that the government had made many legislations during the five year period to resolve the problems of the masses.
He said "It is a political process that assemblies are completing five years time with success."
Replying to a question he said that the government after coming into power had resolved many issues confronting the nation.
He said that the government had effectively controlled terrorism and addressed the problems of the masses of Balochistan.
Qamar Zaman Kaira said, "We are preparing for next elections and hoped to win the next polls."
Replying to another question he said that a huge amount was spent on the development projects to facilitate the people living in remote areas.
