BERLIN: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and European Commission head Jose Manuel Barroso will meet European industrialists in Berlin on Monday, her spokesman said.
The three leaders will meet representatives of the European Round Table of Industrialists (ERT), a forum which gathers about 50 chief executives and chairmen of leading multinational companies, Steffen Seibert said.
Discussions at the evening forum will focus on boosting Europe's competitiveness, employment, education and training, energy and innovation, Seibert told a regular government news conference on Wednesday.
A joint press conference by the three European leaders and ERT chairman Leif Johansson, head of Swedish telecom equipment-maker Ericsson, is scheduled for before the discussions, he added.
