Rashid-LatifKARACHI: Two-member bench of the Sindh High Court (SHC) will hear the petition filed by former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif against the existing constitution of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The lawyer of the PCB will file his reply before the SHC bench.

Meanwhile, according to media reports, the PCB is in a process to launch an amended constitution, which is claimed to be as democratic as the ICC demanded.

On the development, Rashid Latif feels that, as per reports, the upcoming constitution will not be a different dossier than the already existing one.

"If the chairman and other key positions will be duly elected with the help of regions etc then fine, otherwise I will probably file another petition", Rashid Latif said in a statement issued on Thursday.

"All the PCB constitutions were drafted to safeguards personal interests. Rules needed to be aligned with the constitution of Pakistan; however I doubt that someone would ever put country's interest before him", he stated
