President condemns attack on CM KPK

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari Friday night telephoned Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Hoti.

Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President strongly condemned the attack on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He expressed satisfaction that Chief Minister remained unhurt.

The President inquired about the health of the people who sustained injuries in the attack and advised the Chief Minister to ensure that best medical assistance was provided to them.

The President lauded the courage of Chief Minister KPK and reiterated the resolve of the Government to continue its fight against the militants undeterred till its logical conclusion.

Amir Haider Hoti thanked the President for his gesture.
