THATTA: Election campaign for by-election on PS-84 (Thatta-1) has geared up here. The election is scheduled to be held on February 18.
This seat fell vacant after the resignation of Sindh Minister and MPA Sadiq Memon.
Former PPP MPA Sadiq Memon, Manzoor Khushik, Hasan Jakharo and Abdul Wahid Brohi are in the run. Sadiq Memon addressing a press conference at press club here this evening, narrated the achievements of PPP government during the tenure.
He said that windmill projects have been started in Jhimpir and numerous youth were given jobs.
He pledged that he will continue all endeavours for the development of his constituency.
