Australia Brad-Hogg 400PERTH: Australia thrashed the West Indies by nine wickets in the first one-day international in Perth on Friday, reaching their winning total of 71 in just 9.2 overs.

 

An onslaught of pace and swing skittled the tourists for just 70 off 23.5 overs before Australia raced to their target in emphatic fashion with Glenn Maxwell smashing 51 not out.
