KARACHI: The Senate has approved a resolution for setting up an institution for homeless children, the media reported on Monday.
The resolutuion was presented by Islamuddin Sheikh in the Senate.
It was unanimously decided that Bashir Ahmed Bilour would be nominated for the Noble Peace Award.
It may be mentioned that the late Bilour was killed along with eight others and injuring at least 18 in a bomb blast in the Qissa Khawani Bazaar area of Peshawar on December 22 last year.
Bilour was a member of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial assembly and Senior Minister for Local Government and Rural Development of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
