PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that general elections would be held on time and asked party workers and leaders to start electioneering and inform masses about the five years performance of the party.
He said this while addressing a function held here at Bacha Khan Markez on Wednesday wherein people from PK 12 Taro Jabba announced joining of ANP along with families and supporters.
Speaking on the occasion, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, who is also parliamentary leader of ANP, welcomed the newly joined people saying that their decision to join the nationalist party was timely and they would be accorded warm welcome in the party folds.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that ANP has always rendered sacrifices for the peace and solidarity of the country adding that over 750 party workers, leaders and parliamentarians from ANP have embraced martyrdom in the fight against terror.
He said that ANP government was a blessing for the province and it was due to brave policies of ANP that terrorists have been given hard time and could not penetrate in other parts of the country.
Mian Iftikhar asked the people to vote for the people who were sincere with the country and have delivered for the welfare of the people.
He warned people to be vigilant of people with vested interests who wants to reach power corridors through unfair means.
