KARACHI: Business Recorder's senior correspondent sixtysix-year-old Saif, who was a cardiac patient, died in his sleep. Khalid Abbas Saif passed away on Thursday. He left behind five sons, two daughters and wife to mourn his death. He was laid to rest in a Bhara graveyard of Ghulam Muhammadabad in Faisalabad.

Saif's journalistic career spanned over five decades. He remained associated with this paper for about 38 years, and breathed his last while he was sleeping at home. He had worked for several other publications, including Jang and Nawa-e-Waqt, before he joined Business Recorder in 1982 where he worked till his last breathe.
