Sindh govt fails to provide health facilities to people: Faisal Vawda
- He said the previous governments of PML-N and PPP had made massive corruption during their tenures and destroyed the national economy.
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda on Tuesday said Sindh government failed to provide health facilities to people of the province due to massive corruption in this sector.
Talking to a private news channel, he said Sindh government had received Rs 55 billion from federal government for improving health sector of the province but there was no improvement in the sector till to date.
He said the present government was saving millions of rupees by adopting austerity measures, adding the previous governments of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaderships had made massive corruption during their tenures and destroyed the national economy.
The minister said the PML-N chief was enjoying his life abroad after looting national wealth but opposition was busy in criticising the government initiatives against COVID-19.
He said people must act upon all the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) which had been issued by the government to combat the coronavirus.
