Futures spread down by 292 bps

KARACHI: The futures spread declined by 292bps to 6.20 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter remained very thin as average daily volumes during the week declined by 78.8 percent to 36.50 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 171.79 million shares.

Average daily trading value on the futures counter decreased by 75.8 percent and stood at Rs 1.50 billion during this week.
