KARACHI: Pakistan Rupee again showed a very mixed behaviour in both interbank and open markets on Friday. INTER-BANK MARKET RATES: RATES: In the interbank market, Pakistan Rupee exhibited no change for buying while gaining 20 paisas for selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 163.30 and 164.50 respectively. OPEN MARKET RATES: In the open market as well, PKR showed no change for buying while gaining 20 paisas for selling against USD over yesterday's rates closing at 163 and 163.50 respectively. Against Euro, PKR lost two rupees for buying and 1.50 rupees for selling closing at 181 and 182.50 respectively. Against UAE Dirham, PKR showed no change for buying and gained 10 paisas selling closing at 43.40 and 43.70 respectively. Against Saudi Riyal, PKR weakened by 30 paisas for buying and by 20 paisas for selling closing at 42.70 and 43 respectively.

RUPEE IN LAHORE: The Pak rupee stayed unchanged on buying side while it depreciated its worth on selling side in relation to the greenback in the local currency market on Friday.
According to currency dealers, the greenback did not witness any change in its demand throughout the trading session and ended for buying at Rs 163.50 whereas it gained 20 paisas for selling and closed at Rs 165.00 against the opening rate of Rs 164.80.
Likewise, the rupee also stayed firmed against the pound sterling for buying at Rs 201.50 but it recovered 20 paisas for selling and closed at Rs 203.50 against the previous closing trend of Rs 203.70, they added.
RUPEE IN ISLAMABAD AND RAWALPINDI: The rupee recovered 50 paisas against the dollar at the open currency markets of Islamabad and Rawalpindi here on Friday.
The dollar opened at Rs163.50(buying) and Rs 163.60(selling) against last rate of Rs164(buying) and Rs 164.10(selling).
It closed at Rs163.50(buying) and Rs 163.60(selling).
The buying and selling rates of one tola of gold were Rs. 105,700(selling) and Rs. 107,500( buying) in the local Sarafa (gold) markets of twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
