hajj3 400MULTAN: Hajj operation from Multan began as first flight carrying 499 intending pilgrims left for Saudi Arabia here on Thursday.

 

The intending pilgrims had reached Haji Camp on Wednesday. On Thursday morning, the pilgrims were taken to airport by special buses.

 

The administration sealed the route leading to the airport from the Haji camp and restricted movement of other vehicles.

 

The intending pilgrims were seen off by PPP Member Punjab Assembly Ahmed Mujtuba Gillani at the airport. On the occasion, Director Hajj operation Multan Younis Dar, concerned officials and a large number of families of intending pilgrims were also present.
