Hameed Haroon, President, Sarmad Ali, Secretary General, APNS on behalf of the office-bearers and members of the Society have expressed profound grief over the sad and sudden demise of Rehmat Ali Raazi, a veteran journalist and Chief Editor of Daily Taqat and Weekly AZM. He won seven times "APNS Awards" for the Best Investigative Reporting during the period from 1987-1996. He remained member of the Executive Committee for several years till 2018 and was elected joint secretary, APNS for the year 2015-16.
The APNS office-bearers expressed their condolence and prayed that Almighty Allah may rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to bereaved colleagues and family to bear the irreparable loss.
Namaz-e-Janaza will be prayed today (Sunday), at 1:30pm at his residence, i.e. 173, R Block, Modal Town, Lahore.-PR
