The sale of tickets for five matches at Karachi and three matches at Lahore for the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been started at 55 designated TCS Express Centres across the country. The tickets for the eliminator and the qualifier range from Rs 500 to Rs 3,000, while tickets for the final to be staged in Karachi range from Rs 500 to Rs 8,000.
As many as 27 TCS centres have been designated in Karachi while tickets are on sale at 12 centres in Lahore. The tickets are also available at the designated centres countrywide.
Long queues of cricket fans were seen at the TCS centres. Those who are able to get the tickets were found jubilant. Tickets of Rs 500 were sold within half an hour. Karachi will host the first of its five matches on March 7 when Karachi Kings will take on Peshawar Zalmi under lights. The other four matches will be: Karachi Kings vs Quetta Gladiators on March 10, Qualifier 1 vs Qualifier 2 on March 13, Eliminator 2 on March 15 and the final on March 17 at the National Stadium.
Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host Lahore Qalandars vs Islamabad United match on March 9, Lahore Qalandars vs the Sixth team on March 10 and Eliminator 1 (3 v 4) on March 12. Earlier, online tickets went on sale with more than half the tickets for the Karachi and Lahore leg of the tournament selling out in half an hour.
