The Punjab government has sanctioned Rs. 30 million as Christmas' grant for six thousand deserving Christian families. Provincial Minister of HR&MA Ijaz Alam Augustine visited Jhang, Sialkot and T.T Singh districts and distributed cheques among the deserving families. During his visit, provincial minister assured members of the Christian community that PTI's government is committed to provide equal opportunities to the religious minorities and the Christmas grant will be increased up to Rs. 100 million, instead of 30 million in the next budget for betterment of the minorities.
