KHANEWAL: Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP), Rana Sarfraz Nasir started seven-day traffic rules awareness drive here on Friday.
The drive was started on the special directions of Inspector General Motorway Police, AD Khawaja and Deputy Inspector General, Central Zone, Ahmad Arslan Malik.
In the drive, strict action was taken against without hamlet bike riders and heavy fine was imposed to violators of traffic rules. Motorway police officials briefed the people that riding motorcycles without hamlets was very dangerous and no negligence will be tolerated in the regard.
