PTI contacts MQM-P to discuss possible alliance

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) contacted on Friday Muttahida Qaumi Movement - Pakistan (MQM-P) to talk about an alliance with them in the National Assembly.

According to local media reports, sources have revealed that PTI's Jahangir Khan Tareen telephoned MQM-Pakistan's convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. During the coversation, the MQM-P leader has reportedly agreed to join hands with PTI.

The two parties will meet later on, in which it will formalize the alliance. PTI has won more than 110 seats whereas MQM-P has bagged six seats in the National Assembly.
