More than a dozen people have been apprehended in connection with the Saturday's suicide bomb attack at an Imambargah in Rawalpindi in several raids conducted to bring the culprits to task.
Police sources said that investigation is underway and the identity of the suicide bomber, killed in the attack is still not known, and the government has announced reward for people who identify the attacker.
Investigating teams are working very hard to get any clue of the persons involved in this heinous crime, they said adding that it was an attempt to create panic among people of Rawalpindi.
When asked about the force behind this attack, a high official of Rawalpindi Police replied that it is before time to say anything as to, who is involved in this heinous crime.
Meanwhile, after the suicidal attack in Moala Jaffer (Yadgar e Hussain) Imambargah at Satellite Town, here on Saturday evening, police and security agencies' personnel were toiling under the strict directives of interior ministry to avoid any untoward incident.
Police and secret agencies' officials including women personnel remained extra vigilant along with the procession and monitored even the spectators of the processions closely.
The police was backed by Rescue 15 squad, which continued its mobile patrol throughout the city with the procession.
Post Saturday's suicidal attack, the government has enhanced the security of the twin cities and made the checking and surveillance system more strict to maintain the law and order situation.
