Nicaraguan coffee exports fell 16 percent in January to 75,683 46-kg bags, from 90,078 46-kg bags in the same month last year, the export authority Cetrex said on Wednesday.
According to preliminary figures, exports in the first four months of the 2003/04 harvest - October through January - rose 11.2 percent to 265,176 46-kg bags, from 238,422 bags in the same period in the 2002/03 harvest.
