KARACHI: A rally- `Corruption mitao, mulk bachao' has been unable to get the public attention and favour in the interior of Sindh.
This was observed by local media persons based in cities of interior of Sindh.
The PTI rally commenced on Tuesday from the suburb of Karachi- Malir area, under the leadership of Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
The local journalists based in the interior of Sindh maintained that it was not able to get any particular attention of the people and that it was not able to seek public opinion in favour of the PTI.
It was further stated that the `Mureeds' of the PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi greeted the rally of the `spiritual leader'.
Giving their impressions the media men based in the interior of Sindh were of the view that the PTI rally was also unable to generate any political activity.
They further maintained that no movement in Sindh has started through such small public gatherings nor any such future seems visible.
`The leadership of the rally is traveling in air-conditioned vehicles while the people seem in no mood to be a part of the rally in such a hot weather.
On the other hand, political commentators with an eye on Sindh affairs, are of the view that despite an accord not to criticise provincial government on corruption, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) did not activate its workers in this regard and kept them away from the PTI rally whereas the PTI was expecting political support of PPP in Sindh.
