NA passes Equity Participation Fund (Repeal) Bill, 2014, banks special courts (amendment) bill, 2015

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday passed the bill to repeal the Equity Participation Fund Ordinance, 1970 {The Equity Participation Fund (Repeal) Bill, 2014.

The bill was moved by Minister for Climate Change Zahid Hamid on behalf of Finance Minister.

The House also passed the bill further to amend the Offence in Respect of Banks {Special Courts} Ordinance, 1984 {The offence in respect of banks (special courts) (amendment) Bill, 2015.
