LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Justice (r) Javed Iqbal.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister expressed condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family.
He prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
The Chief Minister said Javed Iqbal was a true patriotic Pakistani and his services for the country will be remembered forever.
