Soccer Star Cristiano Ronaldo was forced to storm out of an interview with SNTV after being repeatedly enquired about Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos’ transfer situation. Annoyed by the journalist persistent questioning on Ramos transfer, Ronaldo cut short the interview and walked off.
Ronaldo was pressed on the issue during an interview with SNTV at the weekend, in which he offered a lukewarm reply, ‘I don’t know’. The Portugal superstar, 30, immediately took off his microphone and headphones as the conversation was brought to an abrupt halt.
The interviewer tried to cool things down by diverting his attention on Steven Gerrard’s move to MLS before returning to the probe further on the Ramos matter, prompting the angry reaction from Ronaldo.
Irritated by the journalist, Ronaldo told his media manager, “You are the ones who have to do this, “finish, finish,” and I end up looking stupid. I am not insisting on anything, he is making me leave. Do you want me to be unfriendly with this guy?,” foreign media reported.
Ramos, who wants to end 10-year association with Madrid, is not happy at being undervalued by Manchester United who had a £35million opening bid for the Spain defender.
