ISLAMABAD: President,Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muzzamil Hussain Sabri Friday called for fixing markets closure timings in consultation with business community.
He was addressing a gathering of traders after inaugurating Gulberg Green City.
He said lot of traffic rush was witnessed daily on Expressway due to commuters were facing problems and called for developing the Expressway into a 10-lane road from Zero Point up to Rawat with signal free arrangement, according to statement issued here.
He said a separate bypass should be developed from Pir Widhai to Rawat for trucks and 20-wheelers in order to avoid rush on Islamabad Highway.
He said the traders of Islamabad had suffered losses due to political sit-ins. Especially the traders of Blue Area and Peshawar More were the worst sufferers,he added.
