According to new research found, violent video games increase the sign of depression especially in teens.
According to foreign reports, Researchers recorded significantly more depressive symptoms over the course of a year among fifth-graders from three US cities who reported playing high-violence video games for two or more hours a day, compared to those who reported playing low-violence video games for less than two hours a day. The study was conducted in University of Texas Health science centre at Houston.
Previous studies also indicate that children and teenagers who play mature-rated, violent or aggressive video games may be more likely to engage in a wide range of criminal behaviors, including alcohol use, smoking cigarettes, delinquency and risky sex.
Children playing video games moderately are likely to be more sensible and can easily judge what is right and wrong.
