HYDERABAD: The people of Hyderabad Friday observed Jumma-tul-Wida, the last Friday of holy month of Ramazan with traditional religious sanctity like other parts of the country.
Though the worshippers experienced great inconvenience due to non- availability of electricity and water as a result of a huge power failure, however, a rush was witnessed in all principal Masajid and Imabargahs where they offered Juma prayers.
Imams and Khatibs in their Juma sermons highlighted the importance of the day and called upon the Muslim Ummah to forge unity among their ranks against the anti-Muslim forces.
Special prayers for the integrity and solidarity of the country were also offered by the worshippers.
