france mattel 400SAPPORO: French teenage ski jumper Coline Mattel notched up her second win of the season on Saturday in Sapporo in northern Japan, to move up to second in the World Cup standings.

The 17-year-old, the winner at Sochi in December, went 93.0 metres for 120.2 points in the first jump to win the event. The second jump was cancelled due to strong winds.

Jacqueline Seifriedsberger of Austria was second on 111.9 points, followed by Norway's Anette Sagen on 111.4 points.

World Cup points leader Sara Takanashi of Japan finished in 12th place with a jump of 85.0 metres for 99.1 points. Last year's overall champion Sarah Hendrickson of the United States was seventh on 106.3 points.
