Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive, Karachi on Monday claimed to have seized 11 Houbara Bustards (Tiloor) at Moachko Check Point. According to details, the seizure was made on a credible information, which revealed that the smuggling of substantial quantity of Houbara Bustards from Balochistan.
Reacting on this information, MCC Preventive, Karachi has seized 11 Houbara Bustards at Moachko Check Point. The value of the Houbara Bustards, which is on the endangered list of Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species ('CITES'), is estimated to Rs 1.1 million. The birds will be handed over to wildlife department after completion of codal formalities.
