Modi made ‘historic blunder’ by revoking IoK’s special status: PM Imran

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Narendra Modi made a "historic blunder" by revoking occupied Kashmir's special status adding that now "Modi has opened the way to Kashmir's freedom".

While addressing the nation, Khan said that India was trying to bankrupt Pakistan by using Financial Action Task Force (FATF) forum.

He said, "whenever we tried to have a dialogue with India but they diverted the issue and levelled allegations against Pakistan."

“Pakistan's Kashmir policy is in a decisive phase. So I have decided to take the nation into confidence over Kashmir issue”, the premier added.

The prime minister further said on August 5, Indian govt unjustly annexed Kashmir. They deployed thousands of troops in the valley.  Their unilateral decision is against UN resolutions on Kashmir issue, their own constitution, Nehru and even Gandhi's promises.

“The message that went out on August 5 by scrapping of Article 370 stripping Kashmir of its special status, is that India is only for the Hindus, Imran cited.

Commenting on Modi’s Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) policies, Khan said “the RSS was formed back in 1920s, later BJP emerged as its political wing. We need to learn the history to understand why Modi government didn't talk to us for peace. They’ve a consistent policy based on RSS ideals. As per RSS, India is only for Hindu.”
