LONDON: London stocks tumbled more than 3.0 percent on Thursday as Canada's arrest of a top Huawei executive raised doubts over the trade war truce agreed by Beijing and Washington.

At 1600 GMT, the British capital's FTSE 100 shares index sank 3.12 percent to 6,705.66 points compared with Wednesday's closing level, mirroring losses in Frankfurt and Paris.
