KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Thursday claimed to have apprehended six criminals, including three activists of a banned outfit, during targeted raids in different parts of the city.
According to a press release issued by rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary force carried out targeted raids in Zaman Town and Clifton areas and apprehended three MQM-London’s activists.
During crackdown on outlaws in the mega city the paramilitary soldiers carried out raids in Liaquatabad, Baloch Colony, Zaman town and Awami Colony areas and arrested 10 street criminals.
Citing their crimes the spokesperson said that the arrested criminals were involved in snatching mobile phones, drug peddling and several street crimes.
Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons, drugs and contraband from their possession.
They were handed over to police for further legal action.
