FAISALABAD: Jamat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq on Friday said the government should start the construction of dams.
Addressing a press conference, he said that dams were imperative for the country, therefore, the government should immediately start the construction work.
The previous government had promised to provide water but failed to fulfill its promises, he added.
He said the PTI 100-day agenda was a good gesture and the government should implement it.
He urged the government to also take steps for providing jobs to unemployed youths besides providing residences to the poor.
Sirajul Haq also demanded broad accountability of corrupt elements and said that the government should bring back looted wealth in the country for well-being and betterment of the nation.
