Toyota Pakistan launches Corolla XLi 1.3 with automatic transmission

Indus Motor Company (IMC), makers of Toyota automobiles in Pakistan, has launched Corolla 1.3L XLi with automatic transmission, equipped with latest features and specs.

The entry of Toyota’s flagship Corolla, XLi 1.3 AT has come out as a surprise to many, as earlier reports suggested that Toyota IMC might discontinue its XLi and GLi variants.

The advanced version comes with 4 speed automatic (super electronic controlled transmission), dual SRS airbags, immobilizer and many more.

“Corolla is the most loved automobile brand made in Pakistan and we are thankful to the overwhelming appreciation and response of our customers. Toyota has always strived to provide products that satisfy customers and compete in the market. After continuous demand requests and to capitalize on our 1.3L segment, IMC is pleased to announce the introduction of 1.3L XLi Automatic,” stated CEO IMC Ali Asghar Jamali said, in a statement.

The latest 1.3L XLi Automatic is featured with 4 speed automatic (super electronic controlled transmission), dual SRS airbags, immobilizer, LED clearance lamps, side view mirrors with turn signals.

Additional features included ISOFIX child seat anchors, front personal lamp, power mirror control, MID with eco zone, front seat belts-3 point ELR with pretensioner and force limiter, body colored mud flaps.

Initially, the variant will be available in two colors, that is 'white and attitude black'. Price wise, reports suggest that Toyota has set the price of automatic XLi at Rs 2,019,000 (ex-factory).

The delivery of Xli AT will start from the latter half of this month, informed Jamali.
