SINGAPORE: Asia's jet fuel outright price reached nearly $82 a barrel on Monday, tracking the crude oil price hike.

- This made the current jet fuel price the highest in over three years.

- The high price comes at a time of refinery maintenance in Saudi Arabia and expectations of stronger demand as more people travel due to the upcoming Lunar New Year festive season.

- The 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) Saudi Arabia Total Refining and Petrochemical (SATORP) refinery in Jubail was to carry out maintenance this month.

* TENDERS: Essar Oil sold up to 70,000 tonnes of high speed diesel for Feb. 4-8 loading from Vadinar at premiums of above 80 cents a barrel to Middle East quotes.

- It has an outstanding tender to sell another parcel of up to 70,000 tonnes of the fuel, but this time for Feb. 7-11 loading through a tender that closes on Jan. 16.

- Petron was looking to buy 25,000 barrels of kerosene and up to 95,000 barrels of jet fuel for either Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 loading from South China or Taiwan or for Jan. 29-31 loading from Singapore.

- The purchase would be through a tender that is expected to be awarded on Jan. 19.

- Emirates General Petroleum Corporation (Emarat) was seeking 45,000 tonnes of jet fuel for Feb. 19-20 delivery to Jebel Ali through a tender closing on Jan. 22.

- Offers are to stay valid until Jan. 24.
