BISP contributing towards achievement of SDGs on poverty, education: Marvi

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme Marvi Memon has said that the BISP is contributing significantly towards achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on poverty, quality education and gender equality.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, she said BISP Waseela-e-Taleem is an investment in human capital development that would enable BISP beneficiary families to earn for themselves thus becoming self-sufficient and self-reliant.

She said the awareness is being created through BISP Beneficiary Committees on education, nutrition and women rights.
