People of Karachi are with PM Nawaz in journey of peace, progress & development: Nihal Hashmi

KARACHI: The Karachhites are fully with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the journey for the peace, progress, development and prosperity in the country.

This was stated by the Senator of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nihal Hashmi, while addressing a public meeting held here on Sunday under the auspices of the PML-N Youth Wing Sindh.

Provincial president of the party, Babu Sarfraz Jatoi, and Youth Wing's Sindh chief, Raja Ansari, also addressed the gathering.

Nihal Hashmi said that the political opponents would come to know about their `real position' in the general election of 2018.

He made it clear that on the basis of its excellent record of public service, the PML-N would gain majority of seats at federal level as well as in the four provinces to form the governments.

Nihal Hashmi was of the view that the chairman of the PTI Imran Khan only gave disappointment to the people and by causing obstruction in the path of development cause harm to the national economy.

As for the public service in Khyber Pukhtunkhawa, Imran Khan did not do anything worthwhile, he further pointed out.

Whereas Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif carried out the task of progress and development in every nook and corner of the country, Nihal Hashmi said and added that this is also visible in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa in the shape of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Nihal Hashmi said that the people are fed up with the politics of accusations by Imran Khan and that the PTI has lost its popularity even in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa.

He maintained that the `performance' of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) can be judged in view of the deteriorating situation in Karachi and other cities of the province.

The Sindh Chief of PML-N Babu Sarfraz Jatoi maintained that the PPP government in Sindh indulged in corruption and loot in the name of development projects in the province.

He said that the situation in the province was before the people and on what basis the PPP was criticising Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

Babu Sarfraz Jatoi said that the PPP in its tenure did nothing to overcome the energy crisis.

On his part, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif initiated power projects on priority basis to overcome the energy crisis in the country and Inshallah the electricity crisis would be resolved by 2018.

President of PML-N Youth Wing Sindh, Raja Ansari said that elimination of extortion and target killing in the city is a big success of the government of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The PML-N would be successful in the next general elections as well, he added.
