ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Standing Committee on Interior and Narcotics Control will be held on July 11, at Parliament House under the Chairmanship of Senator Abdul Rehman Malik.
The committee would discuss the compliance on the recommendations of the previous meetings of the standing committee held on May 9 and June 20, 2016, and submission of the report on the Islamabad Capital Territory Local Government (Amendment) Bill, 2016 as passed in the meeting of the Standing Committee held on June 20 for verification and adoption.
The body would be briefed on Islamabad Traffic Police as directed in the meeting on June 20 and National Action Plan as directed in the meeting held on June 2016.
Compliance on investigation with respect to the scandal of human organs sale as discussed in the meeting of the Standing Committee on June 20, 2016.
The committee would take the matter referred by the House on June 15, 2016 regarding murder case of Professor Dr Shahid Nawaz, Cardiologist of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, said a notice of Senate Secretariat on Thursday.
