ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant, Spokesman to the Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik on Monday said the operation is continued throughout the country against the terrorists to eradicate menace of terrorism.
Talking to a private news channel, he said that Karachi situation is much better now as compare to past due to the ongoing operation against the target killers, extortionists and terrorists, adding that all the political parties were united in this regard.
He said that it was not true that the government had adopted any discriminatory policy regarding corruption cases in Sindh.
If any political party has reservations about Karachi operation than its could be resolved through talks as all are against the terrorism and now, there was no room for any terrorist in this country, he maintained.
Replying to a question, he said there were many operations had launched in Punjab for eliminating criminals and terrorist network form the province.
The advisor said there would be no compromise on Karachi operation but we are making more effective.
Replying to another question, he said Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is an constitutional institution and Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf should follow the constitution for removing the members of ECP rather than launching any agitation or sit-in. PTI should avoid the politics of sit-in and it was not solution of any problem, he added.
