imageKARACHI: We are absolutely aware about the defence of our motherland and PAF is fully capable of defending our sovereignty, said the Air Chief, while addressing the Convocation Ceremony of No 28 Air War Course held at Air War College, Faisal, on Tuesday.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force, was the chief guest at the ceremony, a PAF Media Affairs statement said.

While addressing the graduating officers, the Air Chief said, "PAF has glorious traditions of remaining focused on the professional excellence. PAF, in synergy with other services, would continue to play its role in defence of motherland, whether it is conventional war or anti-terrorist operations."

The Air Chief also congratulated the graduating officers on successful completion of the course. He expressed confidence that the knowledge and skills acquired at the Air War College would assist the participants to effectively contribute towards the requirements of national security.

Earlier, Air Vice Marshal Pirzada Kamaluddin Ahmed Siddiqui, Commandant Air War College, presented the course report.

The officers from PAF, Army and Navy along with officers from seven different allied countries i-e Bangladesh, China, Iran, Jordan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Turkey graduated the course.

The ceremony was attended by high ranking civil and military officers and diplomats from allied countries.
