Employment in the goods producing sector rose by 158,600, while the services sector gained a record 794,400 positions.

Wall St flat at open after record rise in US COVID-19 cases

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 15.74 points, or 0.06%, at the open to 25,690.35. The S&P 500 opened higher by 0.42 points.
The Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.84 points, or 0.02%, to 10,545.91 at the opening bell.
