imageISLAMABAD: Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan on Friday said that credit to end fear in Karachi goes to present government.

Talking to media outside the Parliament he said "The party who claimed to end fear in Karachi city ran from the Jinnah ground where it had announced to hold public rally in connection with by-election".

PML-N government has done the job of making Karachi peaceful, he said adding the problems of target killing, kidnapping for ransom and extortion had been overcome in Karachi.

To a question, he said, "Imran Khan is master of U-turn and Pakistan does not need such leadership which takes U-turn at every step", he added.

PTI must thanked to the government as it had taken part in the by-election due to effective action of government against criminal elements, he said.

The Minister said in the past PTI had arranged its public meetings with the support of MQM.

He said people of Karachi in the by-election had rejected the elements trying to destabilize the democracy and economy of the country.

PTI was involved in the attack on PTV, democracy, economy and also created hurdles in the Chinese president visit to Pakistan", he added.

To a question he said PTI chief should accept defeat in the general election, 2013.
