PESHAWAR: Three alleged kidnappers were killed during a police encounter at Ashraf Abad area in Mardan district, police said on Wednesday.
Police on a tip off about presence of outlaws wanted in a case of kidnapping of a person Muhammad Hussain for ransom, conducted a raid on a compound. As result, the kidnappers opened firing on police party that was retaliated.
During exchanging of firing, three kidnappers were killed while the abductee Muhammad Hussain, resident of Malo Kalli Mardan was safely recovered. Police have registered case and started investigation.
